Special Programs
The African-American and African Family Exchange Program will:
- Establish a more positive attitude and better understanding between African-American and African families, students and professionals in the United States and Africa, while increasing educational, cultural and economic relationships.
- Raise funds for science and technological education for Africans.
- Earn commissions for African-American families, a select number of black colleges and economic development.
It is evident that the two groups can be mutually beneficial. Over a period of time, the Family Exchange Program will provide an opportunity and give added impetus for African-Americans to strengthen the bond with Africans through improved programs of education about African culture and through visits to the African continent. Finally, the African-American and African Family Exchange Program presents a unique opportunity to help develop Africa's human and natural resources. African-Americans will share knowledge and skills learned in the United States with Africans.
